Auditions for the
Missoula Children’s Theatre’s
Production of
Jungle Book
Where: Theatre Cedar Rapids
102 3rd Street SE
Cedar Rapids, IA
When: Monday, Aug. 9th from 9-11 am
Who: Students entering 1st-12th grades
Cost: Free but donations are welcome
Details:
- Group Auditions
- No advanced preparation necessary-just bring your best smile!!!
- Students must be at the audition for the entire time
- 60 Local students will be cast
- No guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast
- Cast members must have a clear schedule for the entire week for daily rehearsals and Friday Performances
- Rehearsals will be conducted daily from 9:00am -11:00 and 11:30am - 1:30pm
- Auditions and rehearsals will be run by the Missoula Residency Directors
WORKSHOPS!
Workshops will be lead by the Missoula staff and held at Theatre Cedar Rapids.
Attendance is open to all including non-cast members & non-auditioning students.
Cost for Workshops:
1 workshop $7
2 workshops $6 each
3 workshops $5 each
Improvisation
Fun and interactive class focused on students learning to act without a script.
Participants: 3rd–12th Grade

The Three C’s
Acting and the three basics of performance: Communication, Creativity, Concentration
Participants: 3rd –5th Grade
Date/Time: Wednesday, August 11th 2:00-2:45
Let’s Make-up
Participatory workshop teaches students of all ages by demonstrating corrective, old age, & fantasy make-up.
Participants: 1st–12th Grade
Date/Time: Thursday,August12th 2:00-2:45
